I have been thinking about doing a Christmas drive this Christmas (for the past hour) (we've got Antoine to thank for this ^_^). And seeing as a Christmas drive would involve everyone being driven I thought I'd ask you, our blog readers, what you thought of the idea.
The I ♥ Accra Christmas drive. On Christmas day we all show Accra how much we care and make someone else's Christmas special. We won't be asking for any cash donations but we will be asking for people to contribute food, drinks and their time. I know Christmas is supposed to be a time for families but there are people in our beloved city that have no families or no one that cares about them enough to make their day memorable so why don't we sacrifice as we were sacrificed for and dedicate our Christmas to someone else this year?
Let me know what you think of the idea.

Last xmas eve I have been at Labadi Beach dancing and swimming. It was the first time in my life that I took a bath in the ocean on the 24th december. I like your outstanding idea organizing an event to share with many folks and I will join you all my friends if I'll be in Accra that time
VERY Special, we want everyone that comes to have an awesome Christmas. A filling lunch (I'm talking fufu, banku, abenkwine, turkey, rice and everything in between), gifts, fun & entertainment.
We're definitely going to need help with the organization, and the sooner we get started the better it'll be. We need corporate and individual sponsors that can spare time, food, drinks, gifts and other services.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like this is going to be able to happen, at least not this year. Will keep you posted on any future updates though.
